Powering the remote frontier. Most artisanal mines run on expensive, dirty diesel generators. Alpha Royal has installed three 50kW solar micro-grids in Moroto. This provides clean, silent, and free electricity to run rock crushers and lighting for 200 miner families, cutting their operational costs by 80%
The end of mercury. We are financing the distribution of ‘Gold Kacha’ concentrators—simple, gravity-based centrifuge machines that extract gold without using a single drop of toxic mercury. This protects the local river systems and increases gold recovery rates from 30% to 70%
Investing in minds, not just mines. Alpha Royal fully funds the tuition for 10 promising geology students annually. Our fellows receive dual-training in Uganda and South Africa, ensuring the continent has world-class surveyors to map our own resources
If you can’t move it, you can’t sell it. In the treacherous terrain of Buhweju, Alpha Royal has funded the grading and compacting of 15km of all-weather feeder roads. This vital artery connects isolated hill mines directly to the main highway, allowing heavy machinery in and secure gold transport out
Healthcare that travels to the shaft. We operate a fleet of three rugged Land Cruiser ambulances equipped with trauma kits and oxygen. These units patrol our active sourcing zones, providing immediate emergency response to miners who previously had to walk hours for help
Cleaning up history. We have partnered with environmental engineers to re-process and neutralize old, abandoned mine dumps in Barberton. We re-vegetate the land with indigenous grass after removing residual heavy metals, turning scarred earth back into green veld
